Pretty sad that I’m not attending this on Friday/Saturday. I sure enjoyed the conference last year. This year I’m just doing my best to spend my time writing instead of learning about writing. Only 10,000 words finished in a week, though. Gotta do a little better.

And Socal is now firmly in the grip of a big heat wave. A fulsome summertime is upon us. Been in the 90s every afternoon for a few days, and over the next week it’s gonna be 10-12 degrees hotter. Good time to be stuck inside healing up, I suppose.
