All ready for the imminent departure to Europe. Neither of us feel all that great, but…off we go. One thing about prepaying for a big trip – you tend to push forward even if you’re not feeling 100%. Even if you buy trip insurance, tearing it all down and trying to claw your money back is pretty tough.

Big story lately about the Boeing whistleblower’s claims (the one who didn’t “commit suicide”) that the 787 isn’t safe. We fly on a 787 from London to LAX next week. Figures…

Someone broke into a property on N Galt last night. Big reminder for me to install some extra security gear – more outdoor cams and some timed interior lights.

There’s news every day about who UK’s new coach is recruiting for the 2024-2025 team. On one hand, it makes for a steady trickle of interesting news. On the other, it leads to weird situations where we might have Duke’s former team captain on our roster. Can’t quite get my head around that.

Last few days, I have very much enjoyed reading of the Bloated Orange Thing’s difficulty in sitting quietly in a NY courtroom, listening to people testify to what a horrible human he is. More of this, please. Weeks and weeks of this.
