I saw two inspiring things yesterday.

First was Malcolm Nance, appearing on Bill Maher’s show. Nance is a decorated US veteran who signed up to fight in Ukraine as part of a multi-national force…at age 60! He spent 10 months on the front lines in the Ukraine-Russia war, in the field, not behind a desk, and is now home to talk about it. He’s a cybersecurity and terrorism expert – all in all, an amazing life and person.

The second inspiring thing was UK winning a close game on the road at Mississippi State. We had to win to salvage the season, and we did. It was the first time in a while that I watched a UK game and came away exhausted and happy. A great win…now we just have to do it again against Kansas on Saturday!
