Game day

It’s Friday, and it’s game day! Time for some sweet revenge on TX A&M. Last time we got out rebounded and they shot the lights out. This time we have Thiero back, our bigs are better, and I’ll take our shooting against anyone’s. Cats in the SEC tourney…did I mention that both Puke and Kansas lost again this week? A good omen.

The judge has ruled in the Georgia election interference case, and it’s not as bad as it could have been. DA Fani Willis can stay on the case as long as her ex-boyfriend doesn’t. She damn well better take that deal, because not doing so allows the Bloated Orange Thing to push that case into the distant future. His lawyers will still appeal, but getting that trial started ASAP is imperative.

In other grifter news, ND guv Kristi Noem has completely lost her mind. After getting her hands smacked for doing a dumbass infomercial for a dentist, she’s done another one. This time for shoe inserts. Dumb, tacky, and inexplicable. Perfect resume for a MAGA type, now that I think of it.

This is an excellent question – why are most sofas so bad? I’ve not been happy with the last couple of furniture purchases I made, and this is part of the problem.

Yesterday’s trip to Borrego was nice, but marred by some bad luck. On the way out there we got behind some asshat who decided he (she? it?) would drive about 25mph, on a 20 mile stretch where there was plenty opportunity to drive 40-50mph safely. This is on a two-lane windy road where it’s impossible to pass. They refused to pull over at any of the many conveniently placed pullouts/turnouts, so there was a line of dozens of cars being held up by this jerk by the time we got to Borrego. It was maddening.

The weather was supposed to be sunny and clear, but we ended up with a cloudy, overcast day. Not the best for pictures. Here are some of the best shots, after some heavy post-processing. Every shot I got with the Fuji was badly over-exposed. I’m just not very good with this camera, and I’ve never had that problem with a camera before. Maybe time to sell all the Fuji gear and get something simpler, more reliable. Gotta do something fast, because all the spring/summer travel is coming up and I don’t want to be restricted to just using an iPhone. Anyway, here are a couple of the shots, though I’m not happy with any of them.
