The Trump Organization’s accountants just threw them under the bus. Their Valentine’s Day announcement basically said “We’ve, ummm, discovered that our client lied to us and so their tax filings the last decade are no longer correct. Also, we understand our client may be going to jail and we would prefer not to join them. So they’re no longer our client.” Perhaps the oh-so-slow wheels of justice are finally about to catch up with our former President.
