Nice golf day yesterday at the newly remodeled The Farms course in Fairbanks Ranch. It’s quite the track, frequented by a lot of pros. We ran into Xander Shauffele on the practice putting green, a kinda surreal moment. Here’s a picture from the tee box of the tough 7th hole, back toward the clubhouse.

Challenging hole, challenging course, perfect weather, and we had a lot of fun. A little Woodford Reserve at the 19th hole was a perfect finish.

Taking it a lot easier today – watched an amazing Starship 13 launch and reentry, plus finished up the work on the Sherwood 7450. One big re-solder point, then the right flavor of Deoxit on all the potentiometers, then the laborious re-asssembly. I don’t think I’ll fire it up tonight, though – I’ll just enjoy the work.
