Reading a bit further today, Israel’s strategy on Gaza now seems very clear. “Everybody, out of the pool. Yes, I mean everybody. Leave now, we’re closed.”

They’re going to make the Gaza strip uninhabitable and empty it. I can’t say I blame them. Having your mortal enemy as a close neighbor isn’t a sustainable situation.
