Huh. This is new – the National Weather Service is now saying that a Pacific hurricane named Hilary will impact Socal on Sunday and Monday. High winds (50+ mph) and 2-4 inches of rain. Kind of wish I was there to experience it.

I’ve lived there 30 years and I don’t think we’ve ever had a hurricane landfall. Late August in Socal is normally dry as a bone – we start seeing rain in November. Paraphrasing Dylan, “…oh the times, they are, a-changin…”.
